That’s not a stupud question but judging by the open gears and the plain bearing on the spindle, I’d say it’s at least 100 years old. Those open belts and gears are scary, too. LOL. I love those old machines.

I know this is a stupid question but, 1874? Is that the year the lathe was made or the model number? What’s the swing?
