Cool video about lathe cutting, take a look:

Here I describe in detail the steps I took to cut threads in an aluminum rod on my metal lathe. I was creating a tool holder to hold a small Dremel chuck, meaning that I had to duplicate the shaft of a Dremel tool on my own piece of metal. This was the first thread cuttting I’d ever done, and I wanted to describe the steps both for myself and for anyone else interested in this (as I know I found myself enjoying several thread-cutting videos that I’d found on youtube before I had my lathe).
